Streets of Gold (Video) by SkyBlew
No stranger to The Under-Cover Album Review is the North Carolina based rhymer, SkyBlew. His latest visual is for his track "Streets of Gold" and his consistently soft yet swift delivery is evident once more all throughout this song. Blew's style and sound is unchanging, which is by no means a bad thing, for one listen to the featured track and it should be quite clear to all listeners that he's found a winning formula, and is sticking with it. Miking his site debut is the ever talented rhymer, Noveliss. Many listeners may be familiar with his work with the dynamic hip-hop group Clear Soul Forces, however, the featured visual is for his single "Word" off his solo EP titled Toonami Tsunamis. To touch on how far this site's readership reaches, I'd like to simply state that this video comes to us from two hip-hop artists based in Aberdeen, Scotland. Their names are Cheeens (rapper) and Ekizel (producer), and they've been making music together for about ten years. Their latest album, For Those Who Guessed is out now and the video above is for the single featured on said album, titled "Shadows." This somber yet moving track has a slow-paced beat, and some wonderful lyrics that are anything but cliche'. Dress My Fears by EK feat. Similie
Usually I try to stray away from posting any racially motivated music, simply because I'm a big supporter of the mind of matter theory; if you don't mind then it doesn't matter. However, the angle that the Nigerian-American rapper EK takes in his latest track/visual "Dress My Fears" is one that is seemingly unapologetic, and speaks on more universal topics rather than just race. The infectious beat and the strong lyrical delivery, and well-sung hook from Similie make for a tune worth replaying. All in all, EK displays a great deal of versatility, talent, and clout on this song, which is just what he needs as he gears up for his forthcoming project titled Hands Of Time EP which is due to release on July 1st. Mountains (Video) by Sean C. Johnson
Not too long after the turn of the year, we posted a single entitled "Mountains" by the extremely talented Sean C. Johnson. Now, half-way through the year, Johnson has released the official video for that very song. Eternal (Video) by Mudadda
The last time Mudadda was featured on The Under-Cover Album Review was in 2013, in fact, he wasn't even known by Mudadda then. He went by Andrew Holder, the emcee from Brooklyn, but as he put it, "that was then, and this is now" and he couldn't be more correct. Mudadda has clearly matured in his craft in the years since, as the featured track in the video "Eternal" features an awesome beat, skilled delivery, and lyrics that speak on the thing that matters most; family. No Turning Back (Video) by Substantial
"Mr.Consistent" is at it again. I'm talking about DMV rapper Substantial and his latest visual for the single "No Turning Back" from his most recent EP with The Other Guys titled, The Past.... The song itself is tranquil and easy-going which is due in large part to the mellow beat produced by Joe & Isaiah. The lyrical content from Stan is, as always , superb as he dives into the topic of progressing and moving forward in life, rather than living in the past. With that said, Stan dedicated this track to the late Nujabes (whom he worked heavily with) and in the third verse of this track, he delivers some touching and moving lyrics that shed light onto Stan's personal thoughts on his fallen brother. The video itself does the track justice by portraying smooth and serene themes and imagery, "No Turning Back" is definitely a good watch.

ForestReal (Video) by Gods'Illa
Gods'Illa; a group of three brothers that have been consistently churning out quality hip-hop for the last decade. That being said, the trio hasn't actually released a full-length project since 2011 and now they're looking to update all the listeners as to what they've been up to with their forthcoming album, Believe In Gods'Illa which is due on June 2nd.
With the release date just weeks away, Gods'Illa just put out the video to the project's lead single, "ForestReal" and this track is nothing to sneeze at. The beat is simplistic yet efficient and the rhymes are above par with excellent delivery from all three artists (Acem, Truth, and Powerful). This boom-bap hit should get all listeners jazzed for the upcoming record, and if it doesn't, then get your ears checked.

Recently featured on the site for his album Living Daylights is rapper James Gardin. This time around, however, it's for his latest video for the track "No One" which is actually an in-studio performance of him recording the song! What makes this video so cool and unique, is that it adds the human element that is so often absent in in today's world of online rappers. Artillery by Mega Ran & Storyville
With their new album Soul Veggies out and debuting at #47 on the Billboard Indie Charts, rhymers Mega Ran and Storyville now present a fresh new visual for their single, "Artillery" which features a smooth and polished beat from Small Pro. In terms of the vocal content, both Mega Ran and Storyville return to their battle-rap roots as they bring sharp metaphors and clever wordplay that go hand-in-hand with the subtle yet noticeable aggression and passion within their voice. This track/video also earns bonus points from me personally, for referencing my favorite movie series, Back to the Future, in the track, and for showing a DeLorean in the video. Olive Doyle '94' (Video) by Jay-Walk
The latest visual from the Floridian rapper, Jay-Walk is for his single "Olive Doyle 94" and this track is laced with a smooth beat, and some great flows by Jay. The video itself is nothing too special, however, Jay-Walk is wearing an awesome D-Generation X jersey, and that's enough for me to enjoy it. The production on the track is a serene, boom-bap style beat that has a very laid back and mellow feel.
