Flying Nimbus/Hyperdrive by Gone Wallace

One of hip-hop's best kept secrets goes by the name Gone Wallace, and it seems that each and every release by him only gets better and better. His latest offering is "Flying Nimbus/Hyperdrive" and this two-part track was produced by Russian beatmaker, Mr. Jazzy Bubblez. For starters, the rhymes on this specific song are great. Wallace is an extremely talented lyricist, and on this song, he is quick to let everyone know just that. Additionally, "Flying Nimbus/Hyperdrive" is really two songs in one, as the first half is an up-tempo, boom-bap hit, and the second half is a mellowed-out, serene and slow paced ballad in which Wallace puts his versatility on full display. This is a really good song, by a really great artist, so give it a listen and comment your thoughts!
