The young emcee/producer Obelo recently released the project 77/For The City via soundcloud and one of the standout tracks is "Sky" featuring Sneak Pree produced by Obelo himself. This track has a high energy beat and true vocal talent is evident from Obelo and Sneak Pree. Obelo brings a cocky yet confident swagger to his tracks, this one especially, and his beats are a unique twist on heavy "club" style tracks. Sky, however stands out on the album because it is so well put together. It's a very versatile track and you can't undermine Obelo's lyrical ability as he combines elements of flashy, new age rap with that old school hip-hop charisma.
