It's been a long time since a hip-hop song this funky and catchy has come through our submission box, and thankfully there was a video included! I'm talking about the new track/video "West Side" by Born Allah, Lucky I Am and J-Ro, which features production from up and comer Divine Nalej of BldngBlck. The flows are funky, fun, and energetic and the beat matches those qualities perfectly. The video features The Soul Brothers, a west coast dance crew, and all together, it looks like these guys are having fun creating dope music, and that's what it's all about. There isn't much wrong with "West Side" other than the fact that listeners may have the chorus stuck in their heads for the next two days. Give it a listen and comment your thoughts!
