From being a drug addict, to being incarcerated, nothing has slowed down Christian rapper 5ive. He uses his past as a way to connect and reach out to those in similar situations via hip-hop. His latest track "Church" is off the yet to be titled album, scheduled to release July 1st, and features artists Je'kob and Spec. This track is sure to put anyone in a good mood within the first four seconds of hitting play. The beat incorporates an old gospel feel with a healthy dose of hip-hop elements. This is how Christian rap is supposed to sound, it's supposed to convey a positive message, while still sounding like the hip-hop people urge to listen to.
